๐Ÿ˜€ Emoji Picker

Search for emoji by keyword and copy them with one click. You can search in English (heart, cat, fire) or Japanese (ใƒใƒผใƒˆ, ใญใ“, ๅคฉๆฐ—). Handy for quickly finding an emoji for chats, social posts or documents.

How to use

  1. Type a keyword in the search box (e.g. heart, cat, fire).
  2. Matching emoji are listed.
  3. Click an emoji to copy it to the clipboard.

How the calculation works

This tool lets you filter over 100 commonly used emoji by keyword and copy them. The query is split at spaces, and only emoji matching every word are shown. English keywords match from the start of a word ("hea" finds heart), and Japanese keywords match anywhere in the word. Full-width letters are folded to half-width and katakana to hiragana before comparing, so the way you type does not matter. Clicking an emoji copies it to the clipboard. Emoji are standard Unicode characters, so the copied emoji can be pasted into any app or website.

Worked example

Search "heart" โ†’ ๐Ÿ˜ โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ’” Search "heart eyes" โ†’ ๐Ÿ˜ (matches both words) Search "weather" โ†’ โ˜€๏ธ โ›… ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Search "cat" โ†’ ๐Ÿฑ Some emoji, such as โค๏ธ, look like one character but are two code points: the heart character plus a variation selector (U+FE0F) that requests emoji-style display.

Things to be aware of

  • The same emoji looks different on iPhone, Android, Windows and other platforms.
  • Newly added emoji may not display on older operating systems and can appear as a box.
  • Some social networks and forms count an emoji as two or more characters toward length limits.
