No Pokรฉmon on the Bench yet
Laid out just like a real play mat โ one Active Spot plus up to 5 Bench slots. Set each Pokรฉmon's max HP and tap +10/+20/+30/+50/+100 to place damage counters as the match progresses. Switch to Two-Player mode to give both players their own board on the same screen โ handy for keeping score during an actual match. No need to carry physical counters or a tray โ one phone or tablet handles all the damage tracking.
How to use
- Choose Solo mode or Two-Player mode.
- Set each Pokรฉmon's Max HP for the Active Spot and Bench.
- When a Pokรฉmon takes damage, tap +10/+20/+30/+50/+100 to add counters.
- Use "+ Add to Bench" to bring on a Bench Pokรฉmon, and "Remove" to take one off.
- After the match, use "Reset This Board" or "Reset All" to get ready for the next one.
How the calculation works
In the Pokรฉmon Trading Card Game, damage is tracked with damage counters. Each counter represents 10 damage, and once the total damage on a Pokรฉmon reaches or exceeds its HP, that Pokรฉmon is Knocked Out. This tool handles those counters on screen. You set each Pokรฉmon's maximum HP, add counters in 10-damage steps with the buttons, and the remaining HP updates automatically. When remaining HP drops to zero or below, the card switches to its Knocked Out state. The layout mirrors a real play mat: one Active Pokรฉmon and up to five on the Bench, matching the Bench limit in the basic rules. Two-player mode puts both players' boards side by side on a single screen.
Worked example
A 120 HP Pokรฉmon hit twice by a 60-damage attack 1. Set maximum HP to 120 2. First hit: press +50 and +10 for six counters (60 damage) 3. Remaining HP: 120 โ 60 = 60 4. Second hit: add another six counters (twelve in total, 120 damage) 5. Remaining HP: 120 โ 120 = 0 โ Knocked Out The Pokรฉmon is Knocked Out the moment total damage equals its HP.
Things to be aware of
- Weakness and Resistance are not applied automatically. Work out the modified damage from the card text, then enter that amount.
- Use the โ10 button to adjust for attacks that move counters or effects that heal damage.
- Damage from Special Conditions such as Poisoned or Burned should be added manually according to the rules.
- Reloading the page resets the board, so avoid closing the tab mid-game.
FAQ
How much damage does one counter represent?
Following the standard Pokรฉmon TCG rule, each damage counter represents 10 damage. Use the +10 button for a single counter, or the quick-add buttons for common multi-counter amounts.
Why can I only add 5 Bench Pokรฉmon?
5 is the standard Bench limit in the Pokรฉmon TCG rules, so the Bench section caps out at 5 cards to match a real match.
What happens when a Pokรฉmon's HP reaches 0?
The card is highlighted and marked "KO" to remind you it's knocked out, matching how a Pokรฉmon with damage counters equal to or exceeding its HP is treated in the TCG rules.
What does Two-Player mode do?
It shows a separate Active Spot + Bench board for each player side by side, so you can track both players' Pokรฉmon on one device during a match. Each board has its own reset button, and there's also a Reset All for the whole match.
What if I add too many damage counters by mistake?
Tap the "-10" button on that Pokรฉmon to remove counters one at a time, or use "Reset" on that card to clear it back to zero and start over.
