How the calculation works
This tool lists the Fridays that fall on the 13th from a start date, up to 50 of them. It starts from today. It checks the weekday of the 13th of each month in turn and keeps only the Fridays. Every year has at least one Friday the 13th and at most three. The weekday of each monthโs 13th depends only on the weekday of January 1 and whether it is a leap year. Over the Gregorian calendarโs 400-year cycle, the 13th also falls on a Friday slightly more often than on any other weekday.

Things to be aware of
- In a common year, if February 13 is a Friday, so is March 13, because February has exactly 28 days (four weeks).
- The superstition about Friday the 13th comes mainly from Western, English-speaking tradition.
- Dates are calendar dates; time zones make no difference.
