๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Weekly Recurring Date List

Lists weekly dates starting from the first matching weekday on or after the start date.

Enter valid values

Specify a start date, weekday, and how many occurrences to generate, to get a list of dates for that weekday occurring every week, starting from the first matching date on or after the start date. Handy for checking a schedule of weekly recurring meetings or gym classes.

How to use

  1. Enter the start date.
  2. Select the target weekday.
  3. Enter how many occurrences to generate.
  4. The list of matching dates is shown automatically.

How the calculation works

This tool lists every date of a chosen weekday from a start date, up to 100 occurrences. It starts from today. If the start date is that weekday, it is the first occurrence. Otherwise the first occurrence is the next time that weekday comes round. Each following date is 7 days later. Use it to check or copy down the dates of anything that repeats on the same weekday: weekly classes or lessons, regular meetings, collection days, or medication and appointment schedules.

Worked example

Start date Saturday, September 19, 2026, weekday Tuesday, 4 occurrences 1. September 22, 2026 2. September 29, 2026 3. October 6, 2026 4. October 13, 2026 Twelve occurrences give about three months (12 weeks) of dates at once.

Things to be aware of

  • Holidays and weeks off are not marked. Check them against the holiday list.
  • For a fortnightly event, take every other date from the list.
  • For events set by month, such as โ€œevery second Tuesdayโ€, use the Monthly Recurrence tool.

FAQ

What if the start date itself falls on that weekday?

If the start date is already the target weekday, it's included as the first entry in the list.

How is this different from "2nd Tuesday of every month"?

This tool simply repeats a given weekday every week. For a monthly-recurrence pattern like "the 2nd Tuesday of every month", use the Monthly Recurring Date List tool instead.

What's the maximum number of occurrences?

Up to 100 occurrences can be generated at once.
