How to use

How the calculation works
Shows the colour of the single point you click on an image as a HEX code (like #ff8800) and an RGB value. The click position is converted to the actual pixel position in the original image before the colour is read, whatever size the image is displayed at. Even a large photo shown scaled down gives the exact pixel value at that spot. The Copy button puts the HEX code on your clipboard.
Worked example
Click the lettering of a company logo โ #1a73e8 / rgb(26, 115, 232) Use that code in your websiteโs CSS or your slide colours and it will match the logo exactly.
Things to be aware of
- In photos, neighbouring pixels differ slightly, so clicking nearby can give a different value. For representative colours, the Image Color Extractor tool is a better fit.
- Transparency (alpha) is not shown. Fully transparent areas may read as black (#000000).
- Processing happens in your browser; the image is never uploaded.

I want to extract several representative colors from an image, not just one point.

Does this work accurately on a scaled-up display of the image?
Yes. The click position is converted to the image's actual pixel coordinates before sampling the color, so it stays accurate regardless of the displayed size.
Is the image uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser โ the image is never sent to a server.
