Choose two images, and this tool merges them side by side or stacked vertically into a single exported image. Adjust the gap between them too. Handy for making before/after comparisons or combining multiple screenshots into one image.
How to use
- Click each of the two boxes to select an image.
- Adjust the merge direction (side by side or stacked) and the gap between the images.
- Press "Merge" to see a preview, then "Download" to save it.
How the calculation works
Join two images side by side or one above the other into a single image, with an optional white gap between them. Images of different sizes are scaled down to match: to the smaller height when side by side, or the smaller width when stacked. Proportions are kept, so nothing is distorted. The result is saved as PNG. Handy for before-and-after comparisons or combining screenshots into one image.
Worked example
1200ร800 and 800ร600 side by side with an 8 px gap โ matched to height 600: 900ร600 and 800ร600 โ result: 900 + 8 + 800 = 1708 ร 600 Stacked instead, they match width 800: 800 ร (533 + 8 + 600) = 800ร1141.
Things to be aware of
- The larger image is scaled down to the smaller one, losing resolution. Similar-sized images give the best results.
- For three or more images, merge the result with the next image, or use the Collage tool.
- Processing happens in your browser; images are never uploaded.
FAQ
What happens if the two images are different sizes?
For side-by-side merges the height is matched to the smaller image; for stacked merges the width is matched โ the larger image is automatically scaled down before merging.
Can I merge three or more images?
No, the current version only supports merging two images.
Are my uploaded images sent to a server?
No, all processing happens entirely in your browser.
