How the calculation works
Overlay text, such as a copyright notice, on an image as a watermark. Adjust the position (four corners or centre), text size, colour and opacity. Lower opacity makes semi-transparent text through which the image shows. Text is drawn at a size in image pixels; in the corners it sits 20 pixels in from the edges. PNG images are saved as PNG; others as JPEG at 92% quality. Everything happens in your browser.
Worked example

Things to be aware of
- On large phone photos, 28 px text is tiny. Check the size in the preview before saving.
- A small watermark in a corner is easily cropped off. To discourage reuse, place it larger in the centre.
- Logo-image watermarks and multiple positions are not supported.
