How to use

How the calculation works
Apply one filter to an image: greyscale, sepia, invert, brightness or contrast. Brightness and contrast can be set from โ100 to 100. How each filter works Greyscale: 0.299 ร red + 0.587 ร green + 0.114 ร blue Sepia: a widely used matrix that remixes red, green and blue into brownish tones Invert: 255 โ the original value (like a film negative) Brightness: add (or subtract) the same amount to every colour Contrast: widen (or narrow) the distance from mid grey (128) PNG images are saved as PNG; others as JPEG at 92% quality.
Worked example
Brightness +30: red 100, green 150, blue 200 โ 130, 180, 230 Contrast +50: colours brighter than 128 get brighter and darker ones darker, adding punch For a vintage look use sepia; for a dark photo raise brightness and contrast a little at a time.
Things to be aware of
- Pushing brightness or contrast too far loses detail in pure white or black (clipping).
- Only one filter at a time. To combine them, reload the saved image and apply another.
- Processing happens in your browser; the image is never uploaded.

What formula produces the sepia tone?
It applies a standard sepia transformation matrix to each pixel's RGB values, producing a warm brownish tone.
Is my uploaded image sent to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser.
