How to use
- Drag and drop an image, or click to select a file.
- Enter the number of rows and columns to split into.
- Click "Split" to generate the tiles, then click a tile or use "Download All" to save them.
How the calculation works
Split an image into a grid of rows ร columns (up to 10 ร 10, 100 tiles) and save each tile as its own image. Tile edges are placed at the imageโs width and height divided by the columns and rows, rounded to whole pixels. When the division is not exact, tiles differ by about a pixel, but there are no gaps or overlaps: put back together, they match the original exactly. PNG images are saved as PNG; others as JPEG at 92% quality.

Things to be aware of
- On social media, posting order and grid position can be reversed. Check how the grid displays, for example by posting from the bottom-right tile first.
- When printing a large poster in pieces at home, add your own overlap if you need a margin for gluing.
- Processing happens in your browser; the image is never uploaded.
FAQ
What size will the resulting tiles be?
Each tile is the original width and height divided evenly by the columns and rows. When the division is not exact, tiles differ by about a pixel, but there are no gaps or overlaps and together they match the original exactly.
Whatโs the maximum grid size?
Rows and columns can each go up to 10, for a maximum of 100 tiles.
Is my uploaded image sent to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser.
