๐ŸŽฑ Lottery Number Generator

Specify a number range (minimum/maximum) and how many numbers to pick to generate a random, non-repeating set of numbers. Handy for picking numbers for a lottery ticket or drawing a random set of numbers for anything else.

How to use

  1. Set the number range (minimum and maximum).
  2. Set how many numbers to pick.
  3. Press "Generate" to see a random, non-repeating set of numbers listed in ascending order.

How the calculation works

Choose a minimum, maximum and how many numbers you want, and the tool picks that many different numbers from the range and lists them in order. It starts with 6 numbers from 1โ€“43, the same as Japanโ€™s Loto 6. It uses the browserโ€™s cryptographic random number generator with care to avoid bias. Even for very wide ranges (over 100,000), numbers are drawn directly without listing every value, so results appear instantly. Up to 1000 numbers can be drawn at once. Use it to pick lottery numbers, raffle numbers or ticket numbers.

Worked example

Loto 6 (6 from 1โ€“43): 6,096,454 combinations Loto 7 (7 from 1โ€“37): 10,295,472 combinations Mini Loto (5 from 1โ€“31): 169,911 combinations The chance of winning Loto 6โ€™s first prize is about 1 in 6.1 million whichever numbers you pick.

Things to be aware of

  • Numbers from this tool are no more likely to win. Every combination has the same odds.
  • Avoiding numbers people commonly choose (such as 1โ€“31 for birthdays) may mean fewer people share the prize if you win.
  • Japanese lotteries pay back only about 46% of ticket sales as prizes, so on average you get back less than half of what you spend. Play within your means.

FAQ

Does generating numbers here improve my odds of winning?

No. This is simply a random number generator and has no connection whatsoever to actual lottery outcomes or odds. Use it only as a way to pick numbers, not as a prediction.

Can the same number be picked twice?

No, once a number is picked it's removed from the pool, so every generated number is guaranteed to be unique.

What kind of randomness does this use?

It uses the browser's cryptographically secure random number API (Web Crypto's getRandomValues), giving an unbiased, fair draw.
